WHAT ARE INSCAPE "CREDITS"?

he "Credits" that Inscape Publishing uses to set the List Price of its products represent cash, and are a unique way for Inscape to sell it's DiSC profiles, tests, and reports through its network of Authorized Distributors like us. Here's the rule:

      Thus, when Inscape says in its 2007 - 2008 Price List that the "DiSC® PPSS General Characteristics Report" costs 15 Credits -- the report costs $46.50 in U.S. dollars.

      Where do Inscape Credits come from? They come from Specific Action Corporation, your Authorized Distributor -- who has pre-purchased them from Inscape. The number of Credits that SAC transfers to clients appears near the top right of the client's screen on Inscape's EPIC website. Credits are sold to Authorized Distributors at wholesale -- but are deducted from clients at List Price. The difference between these two amounts is what allows Inscape's Distributors to offer price breaks to their clients if they choose to do so. (Most don't. But we do.)

HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS
      When a client issues a "Test Access Code" to a trainee for a personality test, Inscape immediately deducts the List Price of that product in Credits from the client's EPIC account - whether or not the trainee ever actually completes the test. Thus, it's important for clients to keep an accurate count of which tests they plan to use; and to order those specific tests from SAC; and then to issue Test Access Codes to their trainees for those same tests; and finally to insure that their trainees download and complete the tests -- or they risk being out-of-balance in their Credit accounts later on.

      Also, it's important to remember that SAC must pre-pay Inscape Publishing for the Credits it uses. Thus, it's necessary for clients to pre-pay for the tests they purchase before SAC can transfer Credits for those tests to the client's EPIC account.
